Is the Price Right? Don’t Guess. Work with a PSA

Robert Sivek with NextHomeSuccess has earned the nationally recognized Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) certification. Robert is equipped to guide clients through the anxieties and misperceptions they often have about home values.

What is the PSA Certification?

The National Association of REALTORS® offers the PSA certification to REALTORS®. Determining property values depends on professional expertise and competence, the best use of technology, and a commitment to approach the pricing assignment from various perspectives.

As Marc Gould, Executive Director of the Center for Specialized REALTOR® Education, explains, “Consumers deserve accurate property value assessments, so NAR is proud to provide REALTORS® with a credential that provides enhanced tools, education, and expertise to determine the most accurate value for a home.”

The one-day required course “Pricing Strategies: Mastering the CMA” provides REALTORS® with knowledge and skills to select appropriate comparables, make accurate adjustments, guide sellers and buyers through the details of a comparative market analysis and the underlying pricing principles that inform them, and interact effectively with appraisers. In addition to completing the course, participants are required to view two required webinars.

How Sellers & Buyers Benefit

A REALTOR® who is a PSA provides a valuable perspective and takes the guesswork out of pricing. Through a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA), they can determine an accurate price for the house.

As a seller, you want to maximize your return on investment. You can be confident that your house is presented and sold at the most accurate price.

As a buyer, you need to understand how the price of the potential home is determined to help you make a smart investment. You can be confident that the home you plan to buy is priced accurately and that you are making a smart investment.
