On Oakwood Road, there are approximately 25 lakefront properties facing Natureland Park with sunset views. From Natureland County Park to the island, the lake is a no wake zone and is very popular for fishing. Known to locals as Bird Island, this island has been home to many birds recently, including a couple of bald eagles.
